Hi Jimmy, I am a newbie in game development. I was wondering why you used a cube object for the ground instead of plane object.

Are all character from mixamo free to use in my android game? I am planning to deploy my game in Google play. Is it ok to use any character from mixamo to be included in my game which is being deployed to google play (Game contains ads) ?

I cannot get over how happy I am that you have decided to continue making videos on unity and game development you are probably one of the best teachers on UA-cam for me to understand coding

hi jimmy, when i followed your tutorial all went well until i played the game and my A key is unresponsive. when i removed the boundary check, it is fine. i would appreciate your support in fixing this issue. please.

As a beginner programmer myself at the super young age of 46, I find that my biggest issue is that programming seems to be 99% literal instructions. This process can get extremely confusing very fast when there are a myriad of ways you could theoretically approach said problem and then another number of ways to convert something into something else for clean code management. This by itself leaves most programmers like myself overwhelmed with information and since we're not very good at coding yet, the last thing we want to do is pick the wrong patterns to use in our project only to find out it wont work and it needs to be all redone. Why this might not bother an experienced coder so much, for us beginners, this is soul crushing. Just when we thought we were actually getting close to making tangible progress, we find ourselves back at square 1 with nothing but lost time and it becomes extremely unmotivating.

The reason coding is so hard is because ; that guy is like a boss. I think my code is going to work and then I forget about ; and it doesn't like that

Take it slow and one step at a time is good advice. I've been a software developer for ~30 years and you're always learning, always figuring out how to do things. You're never going to know it all. You just keep solving the problem at hand, giving yourself a little pat on the back for being so clever, and then looking at the next problem and thinking "now how do I figure out this one?". But your bag of tricks keeps growing as you go, so what was hard becomes easier, and what seemed impossible isn't so scary.

i'm just starting learn unity and coding, i find u huge diffuclt to understand how to access the componenets by sripting when i do some thing small like moving object forward its ok but when i add rotation and jumping things become more complecated.

Coding is not really hard. It’s like all a skill learned. It’s more that many people are not fitting for it. Same as many don’t have easy for math and heavy logic tasks.

thanks for tutorial but uhm i have a question for you. Let's say i want to show second camera inside my object. it can be normal gameobject surface (like mirror), or a raw image from canvas and etc... How can make this possible ?

hey Jimmy, have you ever downloaded an asset like a complete school building? and if so, was if difficult to use it as a terrain, so that the player doesn't go through the wall or floor? stairs could be an issue too.. idk?
